The April Issue of Journal of Financial Planning features the latest research paper from Nest Egg Guru co-founders, Jack DeJong, Jr. PhD, CFA and J.R. Robinson. The paper was a Finalist in the JFP’s annual academic research competition and was presented at the FPA Conference in Baltimore last September. It is the 4th paper on retirement income sustainability published by the duo. Previous research submissions have won the CFP Board of Standards and International Foundation for Retirement Education (InFRE) Best Paper awards and have been published in Financial Services Review, Journal of Wealth Management, and Retirement Management Journal. Their current paper may be found at the following link –
While this paper is not about Nest Egg Guru per se, it is worth mentioning that all of the data in the paper was produced using Nest Egg Guru’s Retirement Spending app. Part of the reason we created Nest Egg Guru was to make the findings of academic research accessible and implementable at the practitioner level.
